Come early morning for a day of fun while escaping the crowds on the Early Bird Arashiyama Tour! Explore the beauty of the bamboo, temples and the best of scenic Arashiyama without all the people. This tour of the Arashiyama area includes several of the top visited destinations including the Bamboo Forest, the Togetsukyo Bridge, the World Heritage Tenryuji Zen Temple Gardens as well as several of our own favorite secret spots. This is a mixed group tour with other travelers and typically runs 3-4 hours. It includes a bilingual native English speaking guide, bottled water, a helmet, a bicycle, admission fees, and a spectacular fun filled morning! *Please contact us directly if you are interested in a private tour. We also have options for specialized bikes (ebikes, child bikes, child seat bikes.) Advanced notice is required and fees may differ for tours which require specialized bikes and young riders.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Kyoto Bike Tour. We appreciate your business and are excited to show you around our lovely city. Please read the following regarding our refund policy and liability waiver agreement. You are eligible for a refund if you contact us more than 24hrs before the start time of your tour. All refunds are subject to a refund fee. No shows will not receive a refund. In the event of a 60% chance of rain according to the Japan Meteorological Agency forecast, you will be contacted the night before about the status of the tour. If there is a cancellation, you will be issued a full refund or be assisted with rescheduling your tour if possible. In regards to fitness, the guide reserves the right to refuse a guest he deems unfit to ride. Please be aware that you should be in a moderate fitness level and be capable of basic bicycle riding skills. Reserving a spot acknowledges your agreement that you are able to competently ride a bicycle. It also prohibits other interested parties from taking your spot, therefore there is a no refund policy due to an inadequate level of fitness or inability to ride a bicycle. You will also receive a PDF file with our liability waiver. Booking a tour acknowledges that you have agreed to and signed the liability waiver form. Thank you for your understanding.
